I have changed my number. it works well for calling and texting.
The problem I have is that people text my old number and it comes through.I do not want this.
The reason I changed my number was to stop texts. I didn't want any texts from people with my old number.
This is really strange, I now have 2 text numbers. I can receive texts on. My question is how to stop texts to the old number from coming through.

I doubt that this issue is on your end (i.e. your phone).
You should a contact agent. Perhaps PM needs to reset the network on their end. Or perhaps, it is part of the transitioning from the old number to the new number and may resolve itself in a couple of days. If you find a solution, please report back here for the benefit of others. Good luck.

hi @Delmar
iPhone or Android? if iPhone, disable iMessage and reboot phone and reenable after 30 mins to re-register with the new number. For Android, you are going to do similar thing, disable RCS on your Google Message app settings, reboot and wait 30 mins before you re-enable to re-register
