Public doesn't actually provide a Canada Post tracking number. The shipment can be tracked but it's not obvious how. The order number is actually given to Canada Post as a shipping reference number. By using the oder number as a Canada Post reference number, it can be tracked.
Yeah, I discovered that sort of tracking trickery a few years ago..... it doesn't work all the time, but similar kinds of things can be done to check on the shipping progress of items shipped via methods other than Canada Post too. I've used that sort of thing to check on items coming from the US, and China as well. Eventually, packages from other countries, end up entering the Canada Post system, and you can often use the originating tracking number(or sometimes the reference number) on Canada Post's site, even though those numbers, you might think, would mean absolutely nothing to the Canada Post numbering scheme. 👍

@darlicious wrote:@computergeek541 Thanks it's good to know how that process works when ordering a sim thru public mobile.
@darlicious Yes the person just has to put their order number in the Canada Post tracking. Then a message will pop up that says " there is more then one postal code attached to this reference number. Please enter the destination postal code"

That is a long time for it to get there. Did you order it from Amazon? Perhaps it is lost in the mail!

@happytooth That is a long time for a sim to arrive. As suggested you should have received an email with your tracking number. Did you receive a notice from Canada post to go pick it up? If you don't receive it by noon and you want to take advantage of the current promotion you will have to purchase a sim card thru a retail location or activate in store.
You can always save your SIM card to activate a friend or family member on the next promo and refer them with your code to start earning some rewards. Follow the instructions given to contact the moderators if a credit or refund is needed for a missing SIM card.

@happytooth are you trying to sign up under the present lunar promotion? It expires at 11.59 PM eastern today. My advice is to get to a retailer ie Walmart and activate there (some of them may give you the SIM for free).
As regarding your present SIM. Did you receive an email. There should be a tracking number there.
Or you can contact a moderator and explain your situation. Click on the green questionmark in the white circle at the bottom right of your screen. This connects to the autobot Simon. Type moderator and follow the prompts to get to one (CLICK on account specific question and human and submit a ticket)

If you are having trouble with your services, the next step is to contact a moderator. Here is the link to create a ticket through SIMon:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help -> Click on Chat with Simon on the line "ask me something" write "moderator" -> then click on "account specific question" -> afterward click on "no, I want a human" -> finally you will see an answer "submit a ticket Click me!"
