I have a defective sim card. I ordered and paid for a new one from Public Mobile 3 weeks ago...I hate the chatbot since I am unable to initiate a ticket, getting 404 error. I am in a frustrating loop. How do I connect a living person?
Luckily, I was able to borrow a new SIM..from a friend.
I am waiting for my new SIM so that I can replace the one that I borrowed.
What is going on with Public Mobile? Have they fired their entire staff?
How can I reach a living person?I am going to cancel Public Mobile if this situation continuous.

HI--Unable to open ticket--When I fill in the information for a ticket, the activate ticket button does not work--very frustrating---I ordered the SIM card on June 15, delivery suppose to be June 24...Public Mobile needs to have staff that customer can contact....

@calude1 - how is your SIM card defective? Was there damage done to it?
SIM cards are quite resilient. Note, they can be only used once, and after an account was closed, ported out or disabled after soo long, you cannot use that same sim card on another account. Was this the case here?

@calude1 - difficult to find how to connect with Public isn't it, I agree it is not made easy.
1-go to your envelope at the top right of your Community Account which is where your Inbox and Sent messages are. Select the orange/peach color box with the pencil inside it to start a new message. Type CS_Agent in the SEND TO box. This will create a private message to Public Mobile Customer Support (link is provided in #3 below as well).
2-Normally Faster - use this link to: Get Help With Public Mobile Chatbot] also found in various places in Public webpages, OR
3 -Use this link (same as #1) Private Message to Public Mobile Customer Support Agents (CSA)

Sim card delivery from PM online could be as many as 3 weeks
However, since it has been over 10 business days, you can open ticket with PM support to confirm if they got the order and if the sim card is on the way. They might offer to resend you another one or ask you to buy one form local Telus/Koodo/MobileKlink store and reimburse you the extra cost
