Can you help me by renewing my plan. My phone number is 77xxxxxxxxxx. I need to renew my plan so I have data again! I have added money onto my account for this.

iMessage will work on wifi. Perhaps the hospital has free wifi? If not, try a Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Walmart.

If your contacts have cell phones, regular SMS will reach them. Just be sure Messages are set:

Settings >> Messages >> iMessage ON, Send as SMS ON, MMS ON >> Send & Receive should show your phone number and Apple ID email address.

Doesn't help that my wife is dying in the hospital and I can't contact anyone via imessage until they renew my plann

Who is "you"?

As outlined in @srlawren's post you need to send one private message to the moderator team (= Public Mobile employees). Only they will be able to help with issues that need acccount intervention.

(Everybody who does not have a "mod" or "pm" tag besides their handle are customers just like you, who are passionate about the Public Mobile concept and happy to help with advice.)

 

One message with a detailed problem description and all relevant info does the trick. In fact if you send several messages about the exactly same problem you are clogging up the system for everybody.

Please be aware that the moderators seem to be busier than usual, but, working on a first come first serve basis, they will get back to you asap.

@Mana yes, but, once again the @CS_Agent neglected to include any info about how to private message them.  Come on guys, really?!?!  Not everybody knows how to contact you that way.  Especially so if they are posting publicly instead of just private messaging you to begin wtih.  Please, please try to include the link at a minimum.

How can you get help with your account, activation, or service?

In your message please include:

  • PM Phone Number, 4 digit PIN, Account email address, Detailed explanation of your issue

If you have a Porting issue, please also include:

  • The number you want to port, PM sim number, old account number, old account name exacly as on bill

Don't know your pin?--provide any 3 of the following:

 

  • Complete mailing address, Email address, Alternate phone number, Date of birth, Last top up date & amount

How long until they reply?:

  • Office Hours: Mon-Thursday 9am to 9pm, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am to 7:30pm [Totonto Time].
  • Messages are replied to during business hours and in the order they are received
  • Typical response time is between 1-3 hours, depending on message queue, but can be up to 48 hours.
  • There is no need to send multiple messages.
