I got an email yesterday from Public mobile stating an offer to get 12GB bonus on my plan for 12 months for any new plan activated $25+. Looks like a legit public mobile email; but the code didn't work when I tried activating a new sim and creating my account today.

Here is the official announcement for the promotion you were referencing. Did you use all CAPS when entering the promo code? Anyhow I am sure you have already reached out to customer support by now. But it's not good when PM starts advertising and marketing a promotion elsewhere before they announce it in the community. It makes it difficult for us to help others when we are the last to know....

12GB bonus something wrong, maybe it's 2GB ?
if it's right 12GB take proof photo and send Private Messages to Customer Support Agent
to them check it out is right email and promo.

To my best knowledge emals from publicmobileservice@info.publicmobile.ca are legitimate.
But 12GB is quite a lot so you better double check or talk to the agent.

Can you show us the email? Is it the LNYGIFT promocode or something different? 2gb for 12 months?
