A very easy way to cancel your account is to log into your account and turn off the Subscribed slider. Or if you have the app on your phone, it looks like this.
Simply toggle to the left and you're no longer subscribed. The subscription will be cancelled at your next billing date.

once you port away from PM, your account is deactivated ...BUT...it's a good idea to message Customer Support to actually remove all your payment info from that file. Use this link to send 'em that request.

If you're porting out, your account will be cancelled as soon as the port is complete. be sure to keep your PM sim card in your phone during that time.
If you want extra piece of mind, log in to your account, go to the payment section, remove subscription/auto pay. Please note, the account closes after 90 days of no payment and you will also lose your number if you don't port it out during this time.

If you port your number out to another carrier your account at PM will automatically be closed.
If you don't need your number at all anymore, go into your account and untick the "Subscribed" radio button.
