Hello, sorry if this was asked before. I have the Canada -US- Mexico plan and am taking an Alaska cruise in September. Wondering about phone and data service included with my plan while I am at the ports (Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway). And what do I need to do in the setting of my phone to avoid roaming charges. Anything I should be aware?

Make sure your phone connects to AT&T when you are there. Or manually connect to AT&T

You will need to enable Roaming and manually connect to AT&T and also enable VoLTE on your phone settings. PM is a prepaid service so there are no roaming charges.

you will NEVER incur roaming charges using Public Mobile as it's a prepaid service.
Just make sure to enable Roaming in settings to be able to use data while in Alaska...then just leave it enabled forever as long as you're a PM customer.
To be able to talk in Alaska, you must have a cell that's VoLTE enabled and favoured by Public Mobile....here's a way to tell if yours is...

@KSW , there are no roaming charges for this service. If you have the US-MX-CA plan, simply enable roaming data on your trip. Provided that there is cellular coverage when you go ashore you will be able to use the service as if at home at no extra cost.
