phone number not accepted

I am trying to create an account, but my phone number is not accepted.

Area code 778 prefix 349 (Prince George).

Have you tried a different browser? Clear the cache / use incognito mode?

Are you trying to get a new / temporary Public Mobile number? (You can port in your existing number once you are happy with the service and everything is running smoothly.)

Are you trying to port a number?

Most numbers can be ported but there is a small % that can not. So before activating I would contact a mod to make sure your number can be ported.

Also it is usually reccomended to activate a new temporary number then port once the activation goes through.

@rwoods, are you trying to port in a number during the activation process?  Sometimes activation can be finicky.  Try clearing the browser cache, use a different browser.  I strongly suggest getting a temporary number first and then doing a number port in a separate step.  Good luck, welcome to the service.
