I didn't realize only one number could be associated with my account to I tried adding a number and lost my old business number. Is there anyway to back this process up and retrieve my old number?

Was the number originally assigned to you by Public Mobile, or was it ported in? When the number is given up, it goes back to the original provider (sometimes multiple layers back). After about 90 days the original provider puts it back into the pool of available numbers for new customers to grab.
