If you have never accessed your voicemail previously, then dial 1 or your own number from your Public Mobile phone to set it up for the first time.
If it is already setup, you can login to the My Account portal, go to the "Profile" tab, then click the ✏️pencil icon next to "Voicemail password", then on the next screen click the button "Initiate Voicemail Password Reset" - then dial your own number to re-set it up.
Unfortunately public mobile's FAQ still describes the voicemail PIN reset steps from the OLD selfserve portal. 😆

if you have not activated your voicemail yet , press 1 on your dial pad to connect to the voicemail and follow the instruction
if you just forgotten your password then log in my account , go to profile and click reset voicemail password from there
