I have activated a new card, the account can log in but there is no service. I tried to insert another public card, it works, so the phone is no issue, is the issue from the card or the phone number?

You said you inserted another pm sim card in your phone and it works. That indicates the issue is not with your phone. Have you inserted the sim card in another phone? If it is still not working then that indicates the sim card is the issue.

There was posts about issue with the number they picked... but they had different issues, like when people calling, someone else picked up or so.
Is it showing Public Network on top of the screen? Any signal? Incoming calls, outgoing calls and data all failed?
Any error like SIM not provisioned or SIM not detected? Any icon on top of the screen that show sim not detected?
What is the brand of your phone?

@softech the account is activated 2 hours ago, I tried to reboot the phone, turn it to the air mode then back, and also tried uninstall the card and reinsert, also reset the network setting, but the problem still exists now.
is it possible that issue from the phone number I chose?

Since you have been able to set up your account and can confirm it is active I suspect you have gotten a defective sim card. There has been several new customers having this issue in the past week or so... I suggest you contact the moderators to first see if reprovisioning the sim card will fix the issue. If that does not work then you will have to purchase a new unactivated sim card from a local retailer and then contact the moderators again ( just send a private message to their last reply) to have them swap sim cards in your account. Reboot your phone and your services should all be working.
Save your reciept from the new sim card purchase and submit it to the moderators to credit your account the cost of your new sim card.

IF you were you charged, Is there a slight chance you activated a SIM card via a typo?

@Terry20 so, this is a new account with new number? No porting?
Since you have confirmed that the phone is not an issue with the other PM card. We don't have to worry about if phone is unlocked or not, no compatible issue.
How long you have activated the account? Usually it's instant, and it's rare that SIM has problem

try check it out your phone is unlocked !
and do one thing take your SIM card out and waiting for a minute and put it back and do rebooting your phone - This one is quick and simple. Make sure your phone is off before removing and reinserting its SIM card.
Remove your phone’s battery - Some phones have removable batteries. Sometimes removing and reinserting the battery can fix certain issues. Just make sure your phone is off before you do this.
what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.
Good Luck

Can you confirm you got charged for the activation?
If you are using the same phone with another Public Mobile SIM and it works, then maybe it is the SIM (or you just gotta kick start it),
Try one or more of the below:
*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot
*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it
*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode
*reset network settings

Log into your account to check the account status. Try reinstalling the sim. Try putting your phone in airplane mode and back to active. Try rebooting your phone.
