need to correct phone number

I accidently typed my email address into the telephone number.  I can type it in on Eversafe, but it doesnt seem to save it.  Hence my text messages come through my email address and not everyone I text has that address.  How to I rectify this.  Im not very techie obviously.  Thanks for our help.

thanks for the link, I will keep it this time.  I inserted my email address where my phone number should have gone.  My text only come through on my email address.  Not all people I want to text can be contacted that way.  Thanks again Happy New Year!
