When I phoned 611 it tells me I can access my account at this URL. I tried several different browsers to no avail.
Then, I discovered that it is a secure site. So, the (partial) announcement should include the https:// prefix, because most people might have no clue.

The Self Serve site being typed in without the https:// hasn't worked for the longest time. Typing in that part of the address really shouldn't be necessasry, and it never used to be.

@musicollector are you on Android?
Incognito mode for all.

But that is not for my phone. It is for Windows. I have no issue logging in on Windows with any browser.

I am going to look for an add-on. I wish I could create a bookmark that automatically switched to icognito, built-in. Thanks.

You probably know by now that the login website you have is wrong.
It is:
I have the login page saved on Google Chrome on my iPhone. Never had issues login except when the site is down. I have the 2FA code sent by text to my iPhone to access my account.

Wow, as per you last line, we have three different URL's for the same thing!
http://selfserve.publicmobile.ca
https://account.publicmobile.ca
https://telusidentity.telus.com/as/authorization.oauth2?response_type=code&client_id=...
Clear as mud. 🙂

Oh, I was able to login even before I posted my original post. But I was only pointing it out that the announcement is incomplete. They need to modify it so that others who might not realize it might know.

Thanks, but that is not the graceful solution. When I am travelling and away from home, is precisely when I need to depend on my phone as I do not carry my laptop[ everywhere I go. 🙂

If your browser has it, set your browser to always use https or secure sites. Or use an add-on. It is odd that Public uses that url in that stupid 611 text but there it is. https will get there.

Try using computer or laptop. I tried it using laptop and it works.

@musicollector I guess most browser will automatically add https:// if you just type the URL, like if you type msn.com, browser will add https:// in front of it
and yes, the My Account URL is: https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/
are you able to login now?
Add: and I tried to type just http://selfserve.publicmobile.ca , it actually redirect me to https and then the actual telus site
