ordered sim friday to transfer my number to public how kong can i expect to wait?

Generally, only Telus corproately owned and operated locations will carry Public Mobile SIM cards. Many (if not most) results that the above store location websites provides will be franchised locations.

i didnt get message from chatr to transfer number idk how but they got my text now and was gonna transfer that number and textnow shut down my account so now i have no working number

you are correct, you need to wait till you get the sim card shipped to you, then you will download PM app and continue the activation there. At the steps for transfer details, provide Chatr account info

Usually physical SIMs are delivered within 5-10 business days. Sometimes takes longer. If you do not get it within 3 weeks open a ticket and ask fore replacement. It could be lost in the mail as there is no tracking number and it is send by regular snail mail.

first, did you get a text from Chatr asking for your permission to port the number? Did you reply Yes? If you didn't get that , the port is stuck on Chatr side. But you can ask PM porting support team to check and porting status
I have sent you the porting support team number. Please check your Community inbox (envelope on top right), check for the number and call
And if you already put the PM sim card in the phone, can you make outbound calls with it? you just cannot receive inbound?
