HI @Nekomata
glad there is improvement.
also make sure you update your Carrier profile
Settings > General > About, follow the instructions to install your carrier update.

Since updating my iOS, the battery situation seems to be better. Keeping my fingers crossed that that was the only issue. Just a coincidence it occurred with my provider switch over. Thanks for your help!

What I do is to disable Background App Refresh to apps I rarely use.
Also, I never use wireless charging because it heats up my iPhone. Heat kills battery.
I also don’t put it on the charger over night and not charge to 100%.
Maximum charge to 85%.

Sorry for the late reply. I only just updated and am currently charging my phone. I’ll see how things pan out from here. If the update helped, then I’ll confirm this, but if not then I’ll have to look at another solution.
It seems so odd that this happened after my switch. The battery was more than okay before I changed to PM.

Ooo I hadn’t noticed there was an update. I’ll do that when I’m home.
The thing is that my phone was holding the charge until I switched carriers two days ago. Seems an odd coincidence if the battery is suddenly failing because of age and not the switch. Also, disappointing as I cannot afford a new phone.

@Nekomata Did you also update your iOS to the newest version 17.4 if not maybe try that see if it helps . But in the last that sometimes made it worse . And not to mentioned batteries don’t last for ever and start to degrade after the first charge and all subsequent charges after that . I read some here’s that it’s best to charge your phone to 80% and try not to let it drop down last 20% to help the longevity of the battery
