i just had new plan 25 $ - why my cell not work

when I use cell phone . they show Not register network...…...

 

can you  fix my cell  ???

What do we think? A few things but mainly we think your phone is LOCKED to Fido if it is 4 years old. Do as suggested and request that it gets unlocked and you will be good to go. Or you can continue complaining about our FREE SUPPORT done by us....other customers of Public Mobile who have no ability to refund your money.

We understand your frustration.  The customer service system at Public mobile is different from other carriers. There is no call centre or live chat with PM employee. All interactions are done via this forum.

 

When you put the SIM card in your Fido phone, did your phone ask for a unlock code?  Is your phone locked to Fido?  If it did ask for unlock code, you can either call Fido or Samsung to get the unlock code. 

 

If that is not the issue, it might be a better idea for you to contact moderator/PM employee, but the response time is even slower than here on the community forum.  

 

To contact moderator via 2 methods:

  1. Ticketing system - faster response time

Click on the question mark on the right lower corner of website to start ticketing process to contact moderator.  Type: Contact moderator. Follow the prompts to submit ticket.

this cell work with another company   year ago ……….I just stop use this cell for  2 months

We are all customers like yourself.  We do not have access to your account.  We only can provide advice to troubleshoot your issue.  If we are unable to help, then you would need to contact moderator/PM employee.

 

However, you need to provide more details for us to provide better advice.  What have you tried so far?  Did you get welcome email from Public mobile?  Credit card charged?  Can you access your self service account?  

 

As mentioned in previous post, You might want to try the PM Sim card in another working phone.  This helps determine whether it is a hardware/phone issue versus PM service problem.

Please remove your phone number from this public site.

 

Your phone is compatible with Public mobile network.

 

When activating a new number, it should work almost immediately.  

 

Did you reboot/restart your phone with PM Sim card?

 

@thienly93 please use the 3 dots on the top right of your post to remove your personal information from the post.  Try restarting your phone. Take the SIM card out, put it back in and restart the phone. Welcome to PM. Stay safe.

Did you port over a number or activate a new phone number?

Which model phone?

Was  your credit card charged?

 

Maybe try rebooting your phone

Network reset.
