how to port out to a different carrier when i am outside of canada?

hi, i recently wanna switch to another carrier and the agent at other carrier told me i had to reply yes to sms sent from public mobile. However, i am not in the country, so how can i do that? I assume the text is already sent, but i cant receive it atm.

You have to be in PM service area, be active and being able to receive SMS from PM.

You have 90 minutes to reply to the text so porting will be cancelled.

If you are in USA, you can purchase a Roaming Add-on and reply to the text when a CS_Agent restarts the porting process for you otherwise you will need to return to Canada and restart the porting process when you return.

@Jakezxcxz   Contact Public Mobile customer service and ask them to manually approve the port.  Open  a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page.

basically you cannot unless you have a friend to help you.  But that still involves getting another sim card for your friend in Canada so he can manage the port authorization text for you
