My iphone has recently broke so im trying to get another phone but im not sure what to do with my e-sim card. How do i get it to work on another cell?

This is the only disadvantage of eSIMs. That is why I prefer SIMs over eSIMs. They are not transferable from phone to phone like a regular SIM.

eSIM cannot be transferred
so, you will have to either buy a physical sim card from local Telus/Koodo store and then request change sim card from My Account's Profile page
or you have to pay another $5 for eSIM on the temporary phone, but you will need to pay another $5 to buy yet another esim if you change to a new phone later. I advise against going with eSIM at this point (unless the "next" phone you will use will be a "permanent" replacement phone)
