Longtime Public Mobile user with a normal SIM card on my old Android.
Struggling to transfer an eSim to my new iPhone. Where do I get a QR code for this? or how do I instal it manually? Thank you for any assistance.

@Phil_Adelphus wrote:@Chalupa_Batman I know this has already been answered but just so you know, the iPhone models XS XS Max and XR or newer can actually convert the regular SIM card into eSIM itself.
Have you been able to do this? When I looked at Apple's instructions it says "Tap Convert to eSIM. If you don't see Convert to eSIM, your carrier doesn't support this option." My iPhone 13 doesn't have the option so I would have assumed Public Mobile didn't support it?
Hey @Phil_Adelphus Yes. I was able to convert via my iPhone 15 Pro Max and also my iPhone 14 Plus. You just need to be on a reliable WiFi though for it to work.

I know this has already been answered but just so you know, the iPhone models XS XS Max and XR or newer can actually convert the regular SIM card into eSIM itself. There is no need to actually purchase an eSIM. Just thought I'd share.

you must download the Public Mobile app to your new iPhone, log in to your account and you can buy an esim. As you already have an account, the cost for your esim should be free.
