I have had my account billed but the eSIM is not compatible. How do I get this fixed. Is it possible to talk to a customer service representative?

The website totally confused me. Said eSIM wasn’t compatible and asked if I wanted to carry on. If it wasn’t compatible why was I given an option to carry on? I consider myself to have above knowledge regarding computers and such, but am lacking in knowledge re cell phones as I’ve never had one before. Can’t imagine what computer illiterate seniors face trying to sign up. Not impressed, but the problem is I want to sign up as I heard good things about thing through Reddit

Unbelievable

the website refuses to take me to a page to cancel. Either a redirect to signing in again or a to a page to resume activation. Not sure if I should contact my MP or what to do next. Feels almost like a scamsite I’m dealing with

This is what you need. https://www.amazon.ca/Public-prepaid-postpaid-Activate-Allinone/dp/B06X9ZGDWG

Don't worry, you'll get through this.

Hi @kenora,

Have you considered purchasing a physical SIM rather than an eSIM considering the latter is not compatible with your phone?

You can order a physical SIM cards several ways.

  1. You can order a Physical SIM directly from the Public Mobile website! You can have the card delivered straight to your address!
  2. You can pick up a physical SIM card from a nearby store. To find out which stores near you sell physical SIM cards, you can go to https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/qc/pick-up-SIM and enter our postal code. The site will then suggest you stores closest to you that sell SIM cards.

Do a search for Public Mobile SIM.

as you can tell I’m totally lost - is it possible for you to post an Amazon.ca link to what I should be purchasing.

I’ve a feeling I’ve created a real mess.

@kenora

PM is an online service so you need to private message a CS_Agent.

Do you mean that your phone is not compatible?

If you subscribe to a plan with the FREE eSIM without checking whether your phone is compatible then you need to purchase a SIM from Amazon for $4.99, from Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik for $10 or Canadian Cell Supplies for $6.99.
