Message to Public Mobile support/community:

Hi, my eSIM is stuck in activation. I recently switched to a new iPhone, but the new device only shows “contact carrier.”

I have already tried:

  • eSIM transfer from nearby iPhone
  • generating a new eSIM in the app and website
  • reinstalling and restarting both phones

The system errors out every time and no QR code is generated. My old phone still has service, but the eSIM cannot be moved or reinstalled on the new device.

Please reset/re-provision my eSIM on your system or reissue a fresh activation (QR or push install) tied to my account/IMEI.

I cannot complete activation from either the app or website due to repeated errors.

nstall the PM app on your new iPhone, log in to your account, tap “Account” at the bottom, then tap “Purchase SIM Card.” If you've had this subscription for more than 15 days, the cost is $0.
