Seem to be losing cell service.

Tried all the so called fixes. (airplane mode, reset network, turn phone off, etc., etc.)None work.

Iphone XR has always worked flawlessly.

Happening a few times in the last few weeks.

Only sos showing on phone.

Thanks

if you have an Apple Store close by, bring it in and check, or maybe check for your upgrade choices 🙂

Could be my phone. It is an older one. (Iphone XR)

We'll see what happens.

Thanks all!

@Highflyer104

better to leave it with Automatic so the phone can choose the best network

and also, 3G will be gone soon, so you need 4G or LTE.  (In fact if you are in Manitoba, 3G is gone already, where you are?)

And if reception is an issue, I think you need a new phone that is capable of 5G.  You should check around

Thanks for the response. Cell is back now, although only one bar.

May have something to do with volume. Rural area here!

Thanks again, we'll see how it goes. Supposed to have solid 5g/4g reception.

My phone only has 4g capacity. I often leave it even on 3g, for better indoor reception.

Thanks again!

@Highflyer104

so, after it was SOS, you still managed to get it working again?  Or since SOS, it never able to connect to PM network?

did you try another sim card on this phone? or try your PM sim card in another phone?

And honest, it looks like a device problem

@Highflyer104  Can u try the SIM card in another phone and test it out . Could help determine if it’s account issue or device issue to start troubleshooting
