@Chopper01 - you said you tried everything, so can you provide what you tried, then we will not KNOW what not to suggest. 🙂
If you see a data line listed in this area below in your self serve account: https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/ then you should be able to use data.
Try restarting your phone, toggling into airplane mode, or perform a reset of your device's network settings.
Or, you can see if data works in another phone if you switch your SIM card to another phone..incase there is a data setting or issue with your device.
To perform a Reset of your device's Network Settings. You will not lose your pictures or anything, this will only reset Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.
Iphone:
To Reset Network Settings, begin by opening the Settings app. Next, tap General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. and enter your passcode.
Your iPhone will reset network settings and restart itself.
edit: Last resort a Factory Reset...this should involve backing up stuff beforehand for things you don't want to lose.

HI @Chopper01 Just Mobile data not working?
You should first make sure your Carrier Profile is updated. It should show Public Mobile. What version of the Carrier profile is that? click Update to make sure it is on the latest version
If it is still not working, it is not a bad idea to reset it. Make sure you download all the pictures or backup with Cloud. When you are ready to reset the phone, make sure the Public SIM card is in the phone and setup the phone with it inside. It should work that way

Don’t factory reset your phone or you will loss everything.
As long as you set the iPhone on automatic iCloud backup.
Login to your Apple iCloud account:

Back up your data to the cloud....you should be doing this anyways. Check or any software updates then connect to iTunes and update your carrier profile.
