I went to Calgary recently, I couldn't make phone call from there, it told me it was not within the mobile coverage, anyone one has similar problem?

hi @Joanna-2000

check if you have Provincial plan, but that was only offer very briefly around 3 years ago, I doubt many still on that plan

but it could be a 3G problem if voice is the only issue.  If your phone is not on PM's VoLTE whitelist, then you will be stuck with 3G.  But PM is also reframing 3G-850Mhz in some area and left people with 3G-1900Mhz only, that could affect voice calls.

@Joanna-2000

that is odd as all currently offered cell plans provide for Canada wide calling. Perhaps you were just out of cell range temporarily or there may have been a local network upset. Hopefully you can call now.

@Joanna-2000 most subscribers on Canada-wide plan, which mean they can make calls anywhere in Canada

check the coverage map

maybe you are away from cities and have poor coverage?
