@dwh1  That happened to me after an ios update and had to go in to iMessage settings Send and Receive and re-select the phone number.  Somehow it had got unchecked and only email was checked so I couldn't message anyone to their phone number.

@wnops @I’ve had iMessage disable sending from the phone number - os opposed to the email - when I port. I think it’s a glitch in iOS respond to sim changes. Fortunately you just have to go into Settings/Messages/Send & Receive and reenable it.
I’m not sure this is all that is going in for you, but it should help.

@wnops  - If it is asking you to remove your old phone number from Bell before porting, do so, then it'll ask you to add your same number back after porting in to PM to FaceTime & iMessage.

If you lost it on your Settings > Phone > Phone Number & your number isn't there, then contact CS_Agent, if you can see it, but cannot add it back to iMessage & FaceTime, contact Apple Support Here!
