I'm transferring my number from telus. Everything seemed to be going okay. It was very clear that i needed to respond to the text from Telus to confirm my transfer, but the text came in and then my physical sim was deactivated (I guess?) before I could respond - I have no service now at any rate.
Then the PM app started asking my to verify my account to continue by responding to the text they will send me.
It did show me a screen at some point saying that my transfer was in progress though so... I don't know. All is well or what?

@Mr_Carson Check your sim manager the eSIM most likely already installed , if not check your welcome email from PM for the QR code . And set the eSIM to primary and if this is iPhone make sure you toggle on “turn on this line” and reset network settings

That was the other thing, I chose the e-sim. I do recall a screen saying I could use that. However I didn't see a step asking my to do anything in order to install it. Am I supposed to?

@Mr_Carson Sounds like you did everything right , try the PM SIM card in the phone and reboot the device and test calling texting and data . Most importantly make sure your can receive calls . If everything checks out and you. A log into your account . That’s it’s and once you have successfully ported number to public mobile it will automatically close your Telus account for you
adding porting from Telus is usually quite quick if you have any issue you will get text message saying so with phone number there to call for assistance if you don’t see the number I can send you it private message as we not allowed to post it here for update . And the porting team can re trigger the request if needed
