When I look at my Public Mobile profile it shows my current phone number. When I look at the cellular settings on my iPhone it shows a different phone number. Also when I log in to public Mobile its want to send a verification text message to a different phone number. The fact that my iPhone cellular setting is not my phone number screws up my apple device synching. How do I change the incorrect phone number stored in my iPhone esim? Thanks !

hi @Nav79 believe or not,Reset Network Settings will fix many issues, but of course not all.
So, what exact issue you have? voice? data? you have iOS and Carrier Profile updated to the latest? you tested your sim with a different phone?

There seems to be something odd in the way iOS retains physical sim info when switching to esims.

Thanks very much. Reset network settings on the iPhone corrected the esim stored phone number. I was then able to go into my Public Mobile account and correct the notification number. FaceTime and iMessage both picked up the new sim number when I rebooted the iPhone, and this propagated to my Mac as well

I had this very same issue when I switched to PM. I was with Fido and had a physical sim, but got an eSIM from PM. After transferring my phone number, I had to delete the old SIM card from showing in cellular. It will say something about transferring new carrier to contacts, accept it, I had hesitated on that before googling it a lot. After that, shut down phone and should load up fine. On pm, your temp number will show in your account for authentication, just realized that one myself and changed it, go to account settings and change the phone number to your actual phone #.

HI @Rjmh
first try Reboot and Reset Network settings.
if still does not show the correct number, go to iMessage settings, remove the phone number, reboot and then add the correct number back after to re-register iMessage
