Hello,

My 250 MB data was all used so I purchased $5  250 MB data add on but I am still unable to use it. is it supposed to be added to my next month ? I wanted to use it in my current monthly charge as I am out of data. 

what can I do.

with all respect friend , i know, but when the re do it again is maybe the will stuck, you know
is better to do clear cache and cookies for any Browser,
or can try it for a different Browser, is nothing to losing if do that right friend....

Just so you know it's $5/200mb or $15/1gb making the 1gb add on a much better deal. Add ons at public mobile are one time purchases that do not expire. They stay on your account rolling over each 30 days until fully consumed. Thus the 1gb data add on can supplement your plan data for months until you finally use it up. So you may want to spend a little more now and save down the line. 

 

The exception to this rule are US roaming add one that expire after 10 days.

@Anonymous...with all due respect... that first paragraph about different web browser just serves to confuse customers. Also...no need to give direction to power off the internet.

OP just needs some non-confusing guidance on getting his add-on successfully.

You do what you like though.

i suggest you can try it for a different Browser
and do clear cache and cookies for any Browser,

and use a Browser from your computer,is better

use Browser microsoft edge or chrome latest version
and just make sure your Browser is up to date update
sometime is the Browser is not update is give a issue.

and Restart your computer, is will help a lot,

 

and if you use a home internet please do one thing take your power internet off for about

a 1 minute and put it back on,to refreshing your network,

 

how to Purchase Add-Ons Through Self Serve

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
  3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
    • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
    • If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
  4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!

 

and do rebooting your phone take your SIM card out and waiting for a 2 minute and put it back and turn on -This one is quick and simple.

 

what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

 @JenJana : Did you do both steps? It's deposit money then buy add-on. It _looks_ like you going about buying the add-on but you've only deposited money. If you see at least $5 in your Available Funds then you need to go and fully buy the add-on.

Or...look under My Data & Add-ons...what all is listed there?

Make sure you have $$ in Available Funds...then go back and buy your desired add-on. Reboot phone...should work right away.
