I payed for a different plan at the renewal date. I was charged the new plan rate (which was more than previous plan). At renewal date, the plan continued to be 3G (instead of the new 4G) as well as data usage continued from previous month (as if I had already used most of the GB)

Few similar posts regarding data counter not resetting.
Try to refresh account page as it helped other customer today.
If renewal did occur today, try little bit later; maybe PM is late with updates.
