With the CA-US-MEX plan, is roaming required?

Hello.

I have a CA-US-MEX plan. I’m in Mexico now with an iPhone 15. Do I need to turn on Data Roaming in the iPhone to use data from my plan?

Thank you for your time, Mookaka

@Mookaka yes, you still need to enable Roaming Data on your phone to use the data.  But no worries, you won't be paying extra as it is included in your plan

Make sure your phone able to connect to AT&T or Telcel

Movistar is another network that will work...but Telcel is the predominate one in Mx.

Yes because you are roaming on other networks. PM is a fully prepaid carrier, you'll never be charged extra for anything.

Hello @Mookaka

To have use of your data included with your plan, yes, turn on the data roaming. Also, if your network settings are set to automatic, turn it off and choose one of the local providers there instead and see which one works best in your location. Enjoy your vacation.  Ahora ve a buscar unas cervezas heladas!!
