With US-Canada plans, is calling from USA to USA and USA to Canada included in plan?

@DennyCrane @hairbag1 We're still getting customers saying their phones not on the VoLTE list don't work in the USA so it certainly seems that although more may be getting it, it's still not all phones that would otherwise be VoLTE capable. Perhaps when people post who are planning a trip but haven't left yet we should be suggesting they do the wifi off, cellular data on, make a phone call to see if it drops to 3G test therefore no VoLTE instead?

@hairbag1 Yeah I wish they'd update that article. I do still feel there is value in sharing that article though, as it explains the US 3G shutdown and why a volte device is important. The list may not be up to date, but it's good to educate and to aid in troubleshooting.

just as an FYI...one of the Oracles noted that the whitelist is no longer to be taken as all that is volte enabled. PM hasn't made an Announcement about it yet....but then they've never been too anxious to be up-front about volte. As a matter of fact, I have a cellphone that worked on volte for a few months this summer...but no longer. I don't think we can say that the PM whitelist is a valid document any longer.

@VenkataG yes, it's a true roaming plan with no limitations. Whatever you can do in Canada you can also do in the US, no surprise bills.
* added: just make sure you have Data roaming turned on and hopefully your phone is on Public Mobile's whitelist for VoLTE devices:
