Any updates on wifi calling? Partner is going to drop this service since issues at cabin with receiving calls and calling out. I’ve had feedback from other customers. Do not wish to add more apps to get wifi service
Thanks for your time

@Lee65 I was asked by email from public if my issue was solved re wifi calling. The answer is No. I’m at the cabin with internet. Tried to call out yesterday. Phone call gets dropped. Unsure what would happen if it was an emergency?
when safety is an issue you would think Public would act quickly.
I don't understand why they would ask you that since Public Mobile does not have wifi calling. If it's that important then it's up to you to check what a provider offers before signing up or switching to another provider. Some do offer wifi calling but not all, especially prepaid as opposed to postpaid. If you have any service at all there from any other carrier you should still be able to call 911 even without a sim card. If you want to stay with Public Mobile then you might be better getting a free voip app like Fongo or TextNow to enable calling over wifi even though you do'n't want another app. I have Fongo in my older phone that does not have a sim and can make calls over wifi.

@Phil_Adelphus I would take that info with a giant grain of salt. Front line agents are unlikely to have any insight into if/when Wi-Fi calling is coming.

This is something PM is planning to introduce but do not hold your breath waiting for it.
PM is 3rd tier provider so all new stuff is introduced very slowly, if ever.
