Wifi calling

I have an iPhone 13 and pretty sure I used to have wifi calling on it so my phone would work off wifi at our cottage.  I recently switched to esim - and I don’t seem to have wifi calling as an option??  Does public mobile not support wifi calling ?   Or is it an esim issue ??  Thanks for your help!!

My phone had WIFI calling as well and when I signed up to PM I didn't realize that feature wasn't supported.  I have good cell service in my area so not a big deal.  If I'm in an area that doesn't have cell service I'll be letting friends and family know the best way to connect with me.  My parents don't have WIFI calling and there is very poor cell service  at their cottage. I connect with them on FB messenger..that works well.

i doubt it.  Only higher tier carriers have this.  I don't think any "no-frills" carrier offering Wifi calling

Is Wifi Calling one of your priority at Public Mobile in terms of developpement?

As a workaround, you can download free wifi calling apps such as fongo, textfree or textnow and forward your calls to them. Textfree also has voice to text transcribe so works as visual voicemail.

Nothing showing up on my iPhone just yet. The option is not even there under phone since I switched to Public Mobile. When I put my buddies SIM from Telus in my iPhone, the option for WiFi calling is there under phone. Sad that Public Mobile does not offer Wifi calling.

It is sad Public Mobile does not offer wifi calling. It is a great feature and without it, can be a safety issue.

It is disappointing that PM has no wifi calling. Safety issue at .cabin. May have to rethink this service provider

Any date when PM will be WIFI calling ready?... It a shame, i was planning to switch to PM but wifi calling no option is stopping me now

@Costanza0107 - Sorry, PM has 0 Wi-Fi calling capabilities at the moment - but people have gotten the setup WiFi calling button on their Android, but it is broken link. 
Some people say this year, as a person on Reddit asked a CS_Agent and they looked into it and said at 2024.

Unfortunately, Public mobile does not offer Wifi calling.  Not an issue with eSIm.
