Why two payments when change my plan

@Bal3005 Hello it sounds like you changed your plan early if so  you lose whatever money you paid for your old Plan since this is a pre-paid service if you had  changed plans on your renewal date you would not be paying twice

@RakeshManohar based on your statement, you choose to change it immediately. You lost the money paid to renew/ activate your plan and was immediately charged for the new one. See the article  https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/change-your-plan

@RakeshManohar  Because you chose the immediate plan change option. In order to not lose you existing funds you need to select change plan on next renewal option.

 

If you made a mistake might submit a ticket to PM and explain the error and ask nicely if they can change it.

If you are still having problems contacting Public Mobile then click here. The link  sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. You will receive the response in your private message inbox.

Did you change your plan before next renewal ?  If you did as PM is prepaid then your previous plan does not get pro-rated.

If your plan change is set to "Change at next renewal"...you'll only be billed for the changed plan at your next renewal.
