Ever since I change my plan, my data has been running absolutely slow most times I can’t even use it and I’m outside, I had to connect to my friends hotspot multiple times to just finish my work.
I don’t feel that the service provided is worth the price at all if you it’s only going to work a quarter of the time.
how can we fix this to get what I’m paying for.

what phone do you have? do you only have one of those older 3G only plan?
if you have a 4G or 5G speed plan, you phone probably have network mode set on 3G. Change to the 4G and it will have better speed

I'd be happy with 23, I'm getting 4 or 5

I am very disappointed in the speeds I'm getting with Public Mobile 5G. Public Mobile 4G was faster 😆 🤣 😂 😹

I have the same plan, with the only difference being the 50 GB of data. To be honest, my speeds range from 20 Mbps to 80 Mbps, but reaching 80 Mbps in my area is quite rare. Speeds of 20-40 Mbps are much more common, with 20 Mbps being the most typical. Furthermore, Public Mobile’s so-called 5G is actually just LTE+, which is an enhanced version of early 4G technology with additional bands. The "5G" label they use is more of a marketing gimmick.
In comparison, I had better and more consistent results with Lucky Mobile 4G, where I regularly saw speeds around 60 Mbps. The only reason I haven’t switched is because I have upcoming trips to both Mexico and the US. However, if I were only in Canada, I would switch to Lucky Mobile in a heartbeat.
I’ve tried various troubleshooting methods like swapping SIM cards, changing phones, resetting network settings, and toggling Airplane mode, but in my area, the speed is still disappointingly stuck at 20 Mbps. The speeds are truly inadequate—YouTube works but requires buffering, and Spotify and YouTube Music frequently cut off. Google Maps also struggles to load, and websites are slow to open. Public Mobile’s 5G is essentially the same as their 4G, and in some ways, it’s even less consistent.
Additionally, the Ookla speed test is biased because it uses Telus servers, which skew the results. Fast.com or Google’s speed test provide a more accurate reading. I am extremely disappointed with Public Mobile’s 5G, as there is absolutely no difference compared to their 4G. The only real distinction is the price and the ability to roam in the US and Mexico.

Which plan did you switch from and to? It takes 48 hours to unthrottle 4G LTE data from a "3G" plan's 3mbps to the "up to" 100mbps of a "4G" plan. 5G plans are dependent on whether you are connecting to the 5G network but otherwise default to the 4G LTE network and "4G" speeds. Data speeds achieved depends on network traffic but typical data speeds for "4G" plans have exceeded the promised "up to" 100mbps data speeds.
Here are my recent speedtests with the $39/20gb plan....
If your data speed is that slow perform a speedtest. After trying a few troubleshooting steps like rebooting your phone, toggling airplane mode on/off and removing your Sim card, wait 10 min and replace and add reboot. If these and @softech 's suggestions don't change anything contact customer support to reset your account and reprovision your Sim card.
Still no improvement? Ask that a tech team ticket be opened to fix the issue and ask for some compensation to your plan amount for not delivering that data speeds promised.
Do you know what configuration to use to get images to display beside each other horizontally? Like this...🌇🏙🌃? Thx 🤔🐈⬛😀

What plan do you have? 4G plan? 5G ? or 3G plan?
try to click Reset All Networks and see if it helps
and what kind of phone you have ? Brand and model?
Check the current Preferred network type or network mode, what it is set at? Try the different choice and see how it goes
