I'm also stuck waiting for a response for about 3 days. Need a moderator to change my plan to the cheapest one on an inactive account so I can port that number over to Koodo. Not sure why that's not a self-serve option.
Stay strong friend the only thing we can do is wait ...

@dip13 I'm fairly sure they can move the balance after the fact, after you port out. It's worth continuing the discussion with them even if it's at a snail's pace, in the hopes that the $79 can be transferred. It's worth a try.

Are you switching to Koodo for the 5GB for $35 or for the 8GB for $40 ? I don't know if this is a good answer if the moderators won't get back to you yet. Assuming that public mobile won't let you transfer your balance to your wife account, maybe stay with public mobile yet and use all of it. However, before you do that and in order not to lose the promo that Koodo had offered, go to koodomobile and order a sim and enter the promocode. Just follow all the steps, and they will ship to you the sim 3-5 business days. Even though, the promo expires , as long as you order the sim with the promocode on it , you can be able to use it.

I was with Telus for 8 years prior to coming over to PM and only contacted customer service probably 3 times in those years but the issue was solved within minutes, not days.
It's great when you don't need any action on your account but when you do. Forget about it! you're up the creek for days waiting for a paddle.

They responsed yesterday and asked me the same question about my account that I provided 2 days ago. Useless. Still not solved. I can't wait any longer. I have $79 account balance that I wanted to transfer to wife's account before I port over to Koodo.
The promo expires in a day so I'm gone. I can't deal with this low to no support level from Public Mobile. I feel bad I brought a 2nd line over now.

Hi all
It is also the long weekend, please keep that in mind. They won't get back to answering until Tuesday now.
And stop sending more than one message... you just take yourself to the back of the line each time 🙂

6 DAYS for me.... my port is in limbo right now.
I will send another PM to the mods if over a week.

ok I didn't send another message but still no response, 3 days now. Come on.....
I need some action before I port over and the promo is only on for another 2 days.

The 2 posts above yours advise you to NOT send another pm to mods, as it will delay response time. Your answer is "Will send another in the morning". Why seek advice if you are not going to follow it.

What do you need a mod for to get on this promo?

@dip13, sending multiple messages will delay your response. Do not send another message until you receive a response.

As stated above, typical wait time for moderators have been at least 1-2 days. Try not to send multiple messages. According to the moderators, each new message will delay your response time further.

Hi,
I don't think you've made a mistake porting over two numbers. This is a community based cell phone provider so you will most likely not get advertisements or a "1-800" line to contact. It is to keep the price affordable for all types of people.
As PM becomes more popular and words gets around moderators and such will take more time to reply. This is unfortuante and I feel you.
If your issue is extremely time sensitive try to post something on the Community page and someone, more knowledgeable than I, will most likely respond.

@dip13 no there's no number to call. This is why PM advertise themselves as the phone company without a phone number. Unfortunately all you can do at this point is wait for the moderators to respond. The past few weeks they have been extremely backlogged and are taking much longer than usual to respond, unfortunately.
