I was already using the community under a different username. When I signed into the new website it insisted in me connecting my Account with the community account. I did so but it complained that my original username was already taken, (it wouldn't let me connect the existing account) so I chose a new nickname. Now I lost all access to the other account I had including posts I made and private messages from staff. How can this be fixed?

HI@_sal_ there is problem with some people linking old username no this new system
But if your current name can access Community and My account, you can just leave it like this
if you really need your old username back, then please submit ticket to CS agent at: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM
If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

get the customer support agents involved. They have been trying to link community accounts with self-serve accounts for several weeks now, in anticipation of this new release self serve and community.
Send a private message to the Customer Support Agent by clicking here You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.
Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.
