Today is bill due date and I want to change my plan right now but it looks like public mobile site is really slow , it’s not working well , my inernet is ok i can log into other websites but public mobile . Any idea guys

There is increased activity due to the insane promo frenzy. You should expect delays in service, as the backend system is older, and certainly could use a big upgrade.

Ya i've noticed that as well lately. It wasn;t like this for me in the past, but the the last week or 2 it's been crazy slow trying to log into my account. Very annoying if I'm in a rush or something. Maybe it's time they made some cosmetic changes to their My Account Portal.

Yeah it's slow in general.
Always has been, always will be.
It's a third stringer, probably got the crappiest and oldest network architecture leftover from Telus etc lol

This is a small side-bar company based off Koodo and the Telus network. I don't think it expected the reaction it got, so there will be times when the servers are strained. Typically, between 5-7pm local time is when everyone gets off work, goes on the internet and uses the bandwidth available.
If you're rural, it's typical worse. The site works fine for me, if I login to a public computer (like at a library), wait times are longer because there's more information to process, because you're IP doesn't match your home computer, so there's a lot more data analysis to figure out if it's fraudulent access. And that takes much, MUCH, more time to analyze.
So, it's good to always login with your home PC or cell phone, if you login on a different IP, and log back in at your original IP, it raises questions if you're account wasn't you.
Sometimes your lag is a safety precaution.
But, either way, this company is a great platform and growing quick, so new servers will be out to help these processes. People smarter than I are working on it. 🙂

I almost always find PM site slow, and on many occasions it is even slower. I guess that's just the way it is...

It can be any number of things.
It could be your browser, most people recommend google chrome.
It could be your available RAM, that's a bit of a process to allow more available memory, but google has answers
It could be there are too many programs running, in which case, if you go to task manager, right click on your web browser and set it's priority to "high"
It could be too much background data running, again, task manager can close programs running in the background, as well as clearing data from your browser can help speed it up, like the cookies or cache files.
And it could also be a lot of users logging in and the servers are working hard.
If you're using public WiFi, like in a hotel or camp, there's a name for a certain time, around 5-7pm that, all the bandwidth is used up. So you have to be aware of other users on the same WiFi connection affecting your connection.

Its occasionally slow for me as well.
It may sound weird and not sure if this will make a difference, but maybe try loading the desktop version of the site.

@FarjyI am unable to log into "my account" for about 20 minutes it times out, on my Windows home PC. Often "my account" is extremely slow however the forum is almost always fast.

I dont know why my network is always slow , even for data use it gets slower .

@Farjy Yes, it seems to be slower than normal. Try it on a pc that is hard wired to the Internet.
