Like many others, I received a text offer to switch plans. I have saved a lot of the Christmas gift add-ons Public Mobile has provided us over the last couple years. My understanding is that you lose purchased add-on data when you switch plans. Would I also lose the gift data if I switch plans?

Accepting the promotional rate plan and being switched to it will not impact your current rewards system or existing monthly credits.

If you switch to a 5G unlimited plan then the gift data becomes "incompatible" but it's not lost. If you later switch back to a plan where they are compatible (presumably not an unlimited data one) then they become active again. So in that case they aren't lost but are just "on hold".

@navilluspm You will keep your old holiday bonus add ons and old rewards I can confirm I switch plans often and keeps my holiday bonus add on and old rewards . The only data add ons at risk of losing maybe the expiring data add ins purchased this year after the new system update
