Same issue. In BC. Opened a titcket 2 hours ago. No response from the service agent.

Mine certainly has NOT been resolved. Just restarted and tried it again.

I just tried restarting, toggling airplane mode on & off.

Still cannot make outgoing calls.  I'm in Lloydminster.

 yea dont know when it started today but yeah across alberta it was bad... but as someone says telus took off the post and i thought its been resolved clearly its not

yeah i messaged them and they created a ticket within pubic mobile side they said i have rebooted my phone took out my sim card and put into another phone to see if it was my phone but yeah same issue cant make calls but receiving works and texting and data!

Charmaine12341, I am having the same problem. Funny thing is, my husband's phone is working just fine.  I have put in a ticket and hoping that they are able to resolve this issue soon.

 

Telus took over PM like 10+ years ago, so, it has no correlation

With your problem,  some said the issue is resolved and they can make and receive now.  Telus also removed the outage note.  Try reboot the phone, try your sim in another phone if possible.  If still cannot make calls or receive, ask PM to check.   

open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

Same thing for me.  Just noticed this evening.  Calls in and texts fine, not able to call out.  Nothing from PM.  Interesting that problems starting now, after Telus takes over and raises prices. Hmm.

I am dealing with the same issue,  all day Aug 19th.  Does Public Mobile have any kind of service update, just so I know when it should work ?

Call out seems to be an issue today on PM network.

you're not the Lone Ranger...others have similar issue with out-going calls today. No notice from PM or Telus though.

Are you in the western part of the country?  There was a Telus wireless outage earlier in the day.


Been an on-going issue for most of today. Woulda been nice if Public Mobile / Telus  kept us all updated with any info. If nothing more, to let others know it's a system issue rather than on customer end.

can anyone call out i know there was a network outage affecting telus towers but later i got a text saying it was resolved but im pretty sure its not i can receive calls send and receive texts data just calling out is the problem i messaged customer service agent they said they reset some stuff and had me turn off the phone and wait 5 mins and turn it back on but still same issues.

Are you in the western part of the country?  There was a Telus wireless outage earlier in the day.

I am unable to make outgoing calls but receive calls and can text fine.  My husbands phone works fine.  Any update on what is going on and when it will be fixed.

Public Mobile has been experiencing an outage today in western Canada (BC, AB, and SK) . It seems to be voice calls going out as several have reported being able to receive calls, text and data has been working. Hopefully they’ll have this fixed quickly.

TELUS is aware and working on a fix but no ETA has been provided. Some customers have said it has started working again but it doesn't sound like it since we're still seeing posts about it

Try rebooting your phone. Also, check out this link to see if there are any outages in your area.

I have been unable to make or receive calls today. I have reset phone. Did public mobile software update. Checked airplane silent, blocked, and do not disturb. All are in correct settings.
