This happened to me while with Fido.My phone did not support all of their frequencies which caused this behavior.

@Babin

when you call someone, does that call go through successfully ? If not...you might need to get a newer cellphone that Public Mobile has certified for VoLTE. Use this link to read up on VoLTE and there's a devise checker near the bottom of the article...

Hello.

Depending on what phone you have, you may have turned on block unknown callers. This would often send people not on your contact list directly to voicemails. You may wish to check out your settings for that.

If you're still having issues, you can reach a csa via this link.

If your phone does not ring and all calls go to voicemail, then there is a setting yet to fix on your phone.

1. Is your ringer switched on or off?

2. If you have an iPhone there are different settings to black callers. On an iPhone, the caller's are NOT really blocked.... your phone is just set to not ring (also called a notification) based on what ever was set up. I usually do the set up through "Focus" but there are other ways. When blocking settings are set up...you will still see recent calls and your phone will still take voicemail as you already know.

I suggest you google the issue based on your type on phone.

Can you use data or make an outbound all or text? If yes, your SIM is ok.

Also try to call your phone number twice in a row. If second call works...then for sure it is a setting to fix.

Did you just port in your phone number from another provider?

Olans what phone you have?

Make sure you do not have an esim from previous also installed in your phone.

You could try a network reset.

If that still fails then ask an agent to check what's wrong.
