I can't set up any messaging and still cannot receive calls or texts. Is thier a human to speak with? Need a contact number

Call the Number Port team .  

They will help resend the text message confirming that you want to port your number.

You will have to put your old SIM card back in your phone so this can happen.

Do you still have your old Sim card? Put that in your phone so you can make and recieve calls. You can check that voicemail for any missed calls/messages. Is the account still active? If it's prepaid you may need to pay and reactivate the account before requesting porting of your phone #. Ensure you have the correct info to port your phone number in to Public mobile. You will need:

 

  • Full name on the account.
  • Account #.
  • Phone # to be ported.

Be sure to reply YES to the PAT (porting authorization text) within 90 minutes of recieving it. Once your old Sim card stops working your old account will automatically be canceled and your port completed. You can put the pm Sim card in the phone and reboot. All of your services should work and you can commence setting up your voicemail.

Did you reply to the text with the old SIM in your phone confirming you are porting over to PM?

This is the most important step process to port your old number over to PM.

Since PM is all online service you can only communicate with a CS_Agent through SIMon Chatbot (bottom of page) or through private messaging (top of page on the envelope icon) to restart the porting process between the hours of 6:00am to 10:00pm EST.

You can put in a ticket through SIMon or private message now and they will get back to you by private messaging.

@Mypublic84 you just joined?? you can make outgoing calls but just not receiving incoming?

 

And you requested porting in your nimber?? A critical part to porting is to receive a text from your old provider and reply YES within 90 mins.  If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card , then you might have missed the step and hence porting was not completed

 

There is a number to call to talk to live support and they can re-trigger the process for you.  I will message the number to you via the Community inbox.  Check the envelope icon on top right.  Call them and get it fixed
