Has anyone taken advantage of the mew $40 offer with 15 gigs / canada-wide?

I would have liked to see the (grandfathered) 4 gigs, 4G and province wide coverage for $40 dollars plan be reduced in price.  I would have chosen this for another family member who doesn't require much data.  The savings would have been better.  Unfortunately, were we live, 4G is a must.  3G would not give us the best service.

I hope they'll come out with cheaper, smaller data bucket 4g plans eventually, unless we have to wait to be grandfathered when the 3g tech dies

I've noticed this trend with all carriers. Offer more data, instead of lower price smaller data plans. Most of us have home internet and don't need 15gig plans

Of course if it were offered for $30 and not a limited time thing I'd hop on because why not, I'm still on the grandfathered $30 2gb plan but on 3g data... But for some of us, even as good a deal as it might be, it doesn't make sense for us to pay more on top of home internet 😕

Schedule the plan change if you need the data.  This is like other plans in the lineups, the price will be "forever ". , not like  those good for 12 months o ly dela.  But of course,  like other plans, PM can adjust the price with 30 days notice.  Enjoy while it is here

Many people have already taken advantage of this new plan.  If you're already a customer, you can switch to it by going to your Self Serve account.
