Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+. According to Telus the VoLTE feature should work on this phone. However, i can't seem to figure it out. there's no where to enable it.

There is no VoLTE on off switch in my Pixel 7A.  But on my Pixel 7a, I can type *#*#4636#*#* in the phone dial pad and the phone will display all the phone information including VoLTE has been provisioned on the phone.

Compatibility databases will containt some errors.  It's not only a matter of VoLTE compatibilty but Public Mobile allowing the device to use VoLTE. There are many VoLTE capable device and Public Mobile essentially blocks them out (in the form of them needing to approve the device).

hi @RichardG225

S9 is not VoLTE whitelisted by PM.  and no, you cannot manually trigger that, the option is hidden and the system won't take it for VoLTE anyway

But you can still use 3G voice

Not all 'compatible' VoLTE phones are VoLTE enabled at PM

@RichardG225 The S9 is not on Public Mobile's VoLTE whitelist, see here

Telus probably has a more expansive list itself.
