I ported from another carrier yesterday, my verification texts are not being delivered and I need it to verify the account.

The old account was active yes,
The old physical sim is still in there (from a previous carrier not my most recent one) but I am using an eSim with PM

Was your old carrier account active?
Did you leave your old SIM in your phone to receive the text?

it could be due to the fact that your port was not completed yet. Are you now able to make outgoing calls on your PM sim card but just not able to receive incoming calls? If so, porting is not completed. Let's try to get this done first.
There is a number to call to talk to live support, they can update you the porting status and re-trigger the process for you if needed. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) . Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed
