I have tried three times today to purchase the $30 talk text data plan to no avail… why?

For as long as I know there has always been the weird waiting period. Since the funds are in your balance, you could wait for the 0/15 items to disappear and then use the funds to re-buy the add-on. Or use support.

Not to re-buy the SAME  U.S. roaming add-on.

 

There's always been the 24 hour wait involved - yes, it's stupid.   One of the many things around here they gotta fix.

 

Get customer support to add it for you, then it'll be available.

 

To contact a Customer Support Agent, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type Customer Support Agent, then select Contact Us, then select Other (or the topic that more closely matches your request).  Click the result which states Click here to submit a ticket and follow the prompts,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the Customer Support Agent by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

 

@Pearwasp  It’s a strange glitch with the US add on … but if you reach out to support and submit a ticket you can shave them add it for you manually … or pick another US add on unfortunately

Yes I was charged by PM and I have a balance there.  In the past I have only had to wait minutes not hours

you checked CC and PM didn't charge you?

you might need to wait an hours to try buying again.   You have tried 3 times and might have a fraud lock there, you need to wait the hour to try again.

 

Try again by logging in My Account with Incognito/private/secret  mode when you are ready 

 

If still cannot buy, open ticket with PM CS agent

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

First type Contact,
then select the only choice there: "Contact..",
from the list of , choose "Other"
finally click link the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM

 

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

@Pearwasp  It’s a known issue here in the community that trying to re buy same US add on after 15 days of first ending you have to wait 12-24 hours otherwise  you need to purchase a different US add on , only support can apply it for you right away back to back …. If your credit card has been charged check you self serve for available funds should be there …. But you need support if this is a re buy of same US add on without waiting

@Pearwasp  Also if you’re trying to re buy the same US add on back to back you have to wait 12 -24 hours after the first one ended unless you buy a different US roam add on … if you want the same one back to back you need help of support also
