I have moved and want to update my mailing address but my new city is listed as "invalid". What should I do?

@computergeek541- We're not talking landline or fixed VoIP. I concede hidden number. Still...911 does not know your exact location. Just roughly.

If the emergency people are going to the extent of going to the provider and asking "uh hey what address do you have for this customer" then you're dead. That's all way too much time.

With a landline or VoIP line, the informaiton is relayed automatically. While I do realize that a cell phone is mobile, it wouldn't make sense to me for the same informaiton for a cell phone number to not be seen by emergency services. As for someone blocking the number, that does nothing when calling 9-11. That information would still be visible to them.

@Alexandf-Then this place would be in deep doodoo if that were true. And it's not. It's all location-based. It doesn't know your address until it can figure out your location and even then it's a rough estimation.
Sure, the N S A and C S I S will know everything about you. But 911 does not.
The address conern is actually a concern that I have expressed to Public Mobile. If for some reason someone calls emergency services and a GPS location can't be obtained or if police/fire/paramedics go to that location but no one is there, teh address on file with the carrier would be a place that they would check. It's important to have an accurate address for that reason, but Public Mobile has disappointingly downplayed the importance of that by not correcting this issue that causes customers to input false address information.

There is zero reason to contact a Public Mobile CSA. The CSAs can't override the the site not accepting city names not in the list. Please do not send customers to a CSA for no reason. It will slow down the service for everyone.

Address does not matter at your PM profile. Just leave it as is.

@NeilK Hi there are many cities missing in the list the profile has no bearing on anything so just pick one close to your area

Hi @NeilK PM is prepaid provider, they don't really care the address as long as you pay LoL
Just pick a city close to you

Don't bother. The name and address has no affect anywhere else in the account.
