Try rebooting your phone by powering it off then back on.

Thanks that worked but for some reason when I put the sim card in my phone it's saying emergency calls only even though my account is active

Try using different browser. Try Incognito/private mode. Clear browser’s cache. Try forced refresh. Use computer and not phone to log in.

@Harbackjimmy69 are you using the mobile phone to access My Account and update the sim card? there is a glitch to do it via moble phone
So, go to My Account from ONLY a desktop or laptop computer to request Change Sim card
After you logged in, unsuspend first if you have suspended your service earlier.
Then click Quick Links on the top right and select Change Sim card and follow the steps:
