Hello, I lost my credit card and I forgot to update in PM account. Today my phone number is out of service. But I am not able to login. It looks like the system is down. How can I update it ?

@Gus0712 , the maintenance is finished now if you want to sign into your account to update your payment card. Unless you prefer to keep using vouchers which I always do now!

To manage your payment method follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Public Mobile app  (select + symbol on bottom left) or My Account (click  >  symbol on bottom left)
  2. Go to the ‘Payments’ tab
  3. Select ‘Manage Subscription’
  4. Select ‘Manage Card Information’
  5. Input your payment details
  6. Select ‘Save Payment Information’

@Gus0712 , to add to what others have said I use MuskBird online to top up my Public Mobile account. You can pay using a payment card, PayPal or e-transfer (which I use)

The real time payment option Public Canada RTR  (select mobile top up on that page) that tops it up for you. Provide the phone #, the amount you want to pay.

I send an E-Transfer to admin@muskbird.com   to pay for it. I received an email confirmation, within half an hour it is automatically added to my Public Mobile account without me even having to leave my home! Which this option works great if I can’t login to my account nor call 611 !

@Gus0712 if the account is currently in suspended status you can also look into obtaining a voucher to make a payment through 611,  see here: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles?q=vouchers

When you call 611 (or # 1-855-478-2542 or # 1-855-4PUBLIC from another device), is your account suspended? The above will get your services going.

I got an error just logging in as well. Maybe wait a few hours to see and try logging in again before you reach out to CSA for help to update your card.

Methods to contact Public Mobile Customer Support (CSA) below:

1-Normally Faster - use this link to: Get Help With Public Mobile Chatbot], also found in various places in Public webpages, and bottom right corner of the page (See the Chat Bubble), 

2-OR, go to your ENVELOPE at the top right of your Community Account which is where your Inbox and Sent messages are. Select the orange/peach color box with the pencil inside it to start a new message.  Type CS_Agent in the SEND TO box. This will create a private message to Public Mobile Customer Support.

or a quick way to pay is to buy vouchers from Shoppers drug mart and load using *611

The Public Mobile site is having some issues at the moment. Check back in an hour or so. When you do check back you can use this link to take you directly to where you can manage your payment:

You can also purchase a voucher from shoppers, a gas station, or from an online service like muskbird and add it via *611 in order to resume services. Muskbird also has a different type of voucher that will instantly add to the account.

you'll have to wait until site interuption is cleared up.

Get payment voucher at Shell or Shoppers Drug, then dial 611 to add them to your account.
