Unlimited International Texting ??? (does it include Asia?)

I'm wondering, my basic plan includes Unlimited Canada-wide calls and text,

But it also says Unlimited International Text & Picture

Does this include Texting to Asia ?

SMS itself does not need data at all

MMS need the data technology to transport the file/image but it won't count towards your data usage.  So, you just need to turn on data and it won't count

Yes texting (SMS) doesn’t use data but texting with photos (MMS) will.

I didn’t realize WhatsApp was ban in China.

Yeah, I have Whatsapp, but for many in CHina whatsapp is banned.

Yes, it should if you send MMS from Canada but it will need data.

Another option is to use WhatsApp for free calling and texting anywhere around the world for free when connected to wifi.

specifically, you can text, SMS and MMS, to China and S Korea from Canada, no extra charge

when you use MMS, make sure mobile data is turned on

yes, Asia is included.  But keep in mind, this is just to text from Canada to those countries.  It is not about you can text from those countries.  So, only text to those countries when you are in Canada
